I wonder what would happen if gravity let you go. It's not a question because nobody knows. Nobody knows that mysterious answer to what it's like when your heels are released, dislodged, like pebbles on a cliff face and gradually you're a ballerina on her dainty toes. Things are changing. They whole point of this place is that there is no more change, at least not on a grand scale. But now, things are changing too fast. I don't understand it. I see Roberta growing strong and healthy, her legs getting thicker, her waist reaching its proper size. She's naturally slim, like her mother, but no longer thin and weak looking. She doesn't look like a walking accident waiting to happen. She's all over the house now she's got the energy but at the same time, she's nowhere. It seemed now that normality had settled over the house. I was expected to except this new change in the balance of things as swiftly as it had come. Roberta would be there sometimes at lunch or in the kitchen having breakfast when I was although I kept my distance. She didn't really function much in the daily life of the house. I found out a couple of things from the oldest servant; she is seven years old and was schooled in the private hospital she lived in for those years. The Master is going to teach her now. Apparently she's quite a smart little lady although with that vague expression she wears, I think not. Something rather disturbing

I had stopped actively seeking out the child and returned to my writing and painting. I occasionally saw her but mostly I had returned to my routine lifestyle, which came as something of a relief. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something perhaps more wrong with the child than a simple illness. There was something else. I have sighted her a few more times. I started to keep my eating times irregular, turning up at unexpected moments and hours, except when having lunch with the Master; even then, I tried to change the time as often as I could. I didn't see the child in the kitchen at all. I wondered if perhaps she ate in the dining room alone but after staking it out a few times that trail also grew cold. Captian's birthday!

Wow! I turned eighteen today. Eighteen. That is so cool! I'm realy excited because now I'm old enough to get a tattoo which I've wanted for years. Also, if I go to Vegas I can elope! :dummy: I got a new laptop, which I am typing to you from, wowzers! I'm having a bit of a debate with myself. I have a facebook account and I really only use it to post stuff in my status and comment whore on others. So, should I get a Twitter acount too as that's all it is? Anyone else got one?
